Progressive proudly owns and operates over 160 Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown supermarkets, employing over 18,000 kiwis right throughout New Zealand. We deliver a product range and prices that equate to exceptional value for over 2.5 million New Zealanders who visit our stores each week.

Through our Countdown Kids Appeal, we've raised nearly $4 million for children's hospitals in the last four years. We also support many charities including the Salvation Army, Red Cross and Alzheimers, and we work closely with the New Zealand Fire Service and many other organisations.

We're working harder than ever to make our stores "greener".  In fact, Progressive is committed to helping achieve a 40% reduction in our company's carbon footprint by 2015.
