General Farm Worker 
Our client runs a large scale high country station in the Upper Waitaki area.
The Farm is a versatile and highly productive unit of 8,257 acres. Situated 5km South West of Omarama, the property is made up of approx 600ha flats and the remainder of medium to steeper hill.
Currently 243ha is irrigated, the farm is well fenced with tidy stock & access lanes.
We are looking for a farming all-rounder who will have proven experience in:

Monitoring animal health and welfare, and be able to report any problems
-
General maintenance of the farm as directed.

Fencing repairs as needed.
-
General maintenance such as grubbing nodding thistles & knapsack spraying.

Maintance of Farm Machinery including, ensuring all vehicles are kept clean.

The shifting of irrigators is a 7 day a week operation during summer and very important to the success of the farming operation.

Arable Farm Worker
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated staff member to join their team. This farm is a very successful livestock and mixed cropping operation and therefore we are looking for someone who can meet and continue to grow the high standards set.
The cropping business consists of cereals, seed potatoes and grass seed in conjunction with a lamb fattening operation.
The successful applicant would be working across all areas of the farm so a working knowledge and good grounding with both stock and machinery is necessary.
You will be required to:
• Liaise with the farm owner & manager- Good communications skills are required.
• Operate tractors and other farm machinery.
• Have a mechanical back ground
• Take on other farm duties as required
This position would appeal to someone who is wanting to broaden their skill base and to grow within the industry.
You therefore need to be able work well without daily or close supervision.
