Meridian received a bill file from their meter provider and due to some corruption within this file the meter reads rejected in Meridian’s billing system.This error was not picked up in time to have the bills reproduced on the July billing run for ATS customers. Will this happen next month? Meridian is working to resolve the issue and are putting measures in place to help ensure this does not happen again. When will I get my electricity account? Your Julyelectricity invoice will be sent with your Augustelectricity invoice. This means that both charges will appear on your August ATS statement which will be due for payment on the 20th September 2010. Please note this means you will receive both bills at once and you will receive a statement cover sheet to reflect this. When do I have to pay the July amount? ATS customers will be invoiced for this amount on their ATS statements in August, with payment due 20 September 2010. Will I lose my prompt payment discount? No, as a valued customer you will still receive your prompt payment discount. |
